Dear Members,

I am pleased to extend an invitation to you for the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Kitchener Ringette Association. The meeting will be held on May 28, 2024, at 7:30 pm in the Murray Fried Room at Activa Sportsplex, as well as virtually via the link below:

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss important matters regarding the association and to conduct the election of new Directors. We currently have open positions for the following roles: President, Regional Convenor, RAMP Manager, Marketing Director. Nominations will close May 18th, 2025.

Voting:

Voting Rights: Members will have one vote each. Player Members do not have a vote unless meeting the definition of a Voting Member.
Eligibility of Votes: All voting members in good standing will be eligible to vote. The list of eligible Members will be determined by the Board no more than thirty (30) days prior to the meeting.
Absentee Voting: Members may vote in writing in advance of the meeting on published proposed resolutions and for the election of Directors by informing the Secretary prior to the vote.
Proxy Voting: Members may appoint a proxy holder to attend and vote on their behalf. The proxy holder must be a member, and the proxy must be submitted to a Board Member at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the meeting.

f) Presentation of finances

g) Business as specified in the meeting notice
