Volunteers needed for KRA Board of Directors

Hello Wildcats!

What a season we’ve had so far! The KRA Board hopes that you’ve been out enjoying the games and tournaments, sharing your Wildcat pride!

Given that we are now in the last few months of the season we have to start planning for next season. Each year, the volunteer term ends for half of KRA’s board positions. As a result, we start to canvass for volunteers willing to help support the future of the Kitchener Ringette Association. The absence of volunteers willing to step forward to fill certain positions could result in KRA being unable to operate smoothly next season.

We will be looking for volunteers to fill the following positions on our Board of Directors:

- President

- Coaching Director

- Rep Convenor

- Regional Convenor

We also have the following Key Volunteer (non-Board) positions that will become available:

-        Minor Officials

-        Player Development

-        Social Media

-        Golden Ring Chair

We are working on updated job descriptions that will outline the duties required for each position. These will be posted to our website soon (http://www.kitchenerringette.com/content/board-of-directors---key-volunteers). If you are interested in any of these positions, please reach out to Nancy Holmes at president@kitchenerringette.com or any other board member/key volunteer currently occupying any of the above positions for more information.
