Golden Ring Volunteers
Our annual Golden Ring Tournament in quickly approaching. As always this tournament in beneficial to our association as it helps keep registration costs down.
The year we will be using the following arena’s for our Tournament:
Friday, January 31 - Activa: Alumni and Patrick Doherty, Kitchener Auditorium: Kinsmen and Kiwanis.
Saturday February 1 - Kitchener Auditorium: Kinsmen and Kiwanis, Sportsworld Arena: Gay Lea and Practice
Sunday February 2 - Kitchener Auditorium: Kinsmen and Kiwanis, Sportsworld Arena: Gay Lea
There has been a lot of behind the scene work by our committee members, but now we need the help of our membership. We can not run this tournament without your help and support. Each team is required to provide 9 volunteer slots. The volunteer positions needed are the following:
Convenor: this includes looking after the sign in table of games sheets, dressing room keys, sportsman like award, etc.
50/50 - we will need volunteers to go around the arena to sell tickets for our 50/50 draw.
Raffle Table - we will need volunteers to watch the raffle table, sell tickets for the raffle and answer any questions may have.
For the most important question, how do you sign up? Go the Kitchener Ringette website. Click on the Volunteer Sign up (HERE) and look for the dates and times that are available. Click on the one that you want and fill out your information. It is that easy. If you sign up for a wrong time or need to change it. Not a problem, all you need to do in email our volunteer coordinator (Kim Brabazon at email@example.com) and she will be able to help you. If you need to know how many spots your team has filled or still need to be filled, this will be located on the website under Golden Ring Tournament under Tournament Volunteers. (This page)
